
From Saturday, June 8, 2019 to Sunday, September 29, 2019, the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG), located in the Bronx, New York City, is presenting the show Brazilian Modern: The Living Art of Roberto Burle Marx, bringing together movement, arts, dance, business and of course, its magnificent landscape.
No better place to show Burle Marx (1909ā94) exhibition, who is known as a visionary in the world ofĀ preservation and creativity, a force of nature from Brazilāthrough his bold landscapes, vibrant art, and passionate commitment to plant conservation.
His powerful modernist vision producedĀ thousands of gardens and landscapes.

Outside the cafĆ©, and later through the NYBG,Ā the contagious music and performance of the band āFogo Azulā, and its āmaestroā, Stacy Kivacs ā brought presents to dance and play.
When the āparadeā, finished another event started, in front of the Conservatory, where the party continued with more caipirinhas, samba dancing classes, and shows, with music from Brazilian artists and DJs.

The New York Botanical Garden is a playground for a photographer like me; everywhere I was looking at there was something interesting for my type of photography, something from which I could’ve translate in some design.
