From Saturday, June 8, 2019 to Sunday, September 29, 2019, the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG), located in the Bronx, New York City, is presenting the show Brazilian Modern: The Living Art of Roberto Burle Marx, bringing together movement, arts, dance, business and of course, its magnificent landscape.
No better place to show Burle Marx (1909â94) exhibition, who is known as a visionary in the world of preservation and creativity, a force of nature from Brazilâthrough his bold landscapes, vibrant art, and passionate commitment to plant conservation.
His powerful modernist vision produced thousands of gardens and landscapes.

Who doesnât know the wavy walkways of Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro?
During the time of the exhibition, many events is happening, as the one from http://www.nglccny.org/ , at the Pine Tree cafe, the World Pride Night.
Outside the cafĂŠ, and later through the NYBG, the contagious music and performance of the band âFogo Azulâ, and its âmaestroâ, Stacy Kivacs â brought presents to dance and play.
When the âparadeâ, finished another event started, in front of the Conservatory, where the party continued with more caipirinhas, samba dancing classes, and shows, with music from Brazilian artists and DJs.
A perfect Pride afternoon/evening in NYC Prideâs month.
